What TimerCue is

A workout interval timer with a strength log and analytics. No account, no subscription, no ads. Everything you record stays on your iPhone.

Common questions

Do the voice cues keep going with the screen locked? Yes: during a run the app keeps its audio session alive, so the cues play with the phone in your pocket, and the Live Activity on the lock screen shows where you are. If another app takes the audio over (a call, music), the cues arrive as notifications instead — so allow notifications when the app asks, or turn them on in iOS Settings → TimerCue.

My workouts do not appear in the Health app. Turn on Save workouts to Health in the app's Settings and accept the Health authorization sheet. Only sessions finished after that are written; the app never reads anything back from Health.

The barbell shows the wrong plates. The plates follow the exercise's own unit and load step, set in the exercise editor (kilograms or pounds); Settings → Weight unit is what Analytics reports in and the default for new exercises. The bar's own weight is included in the total.

How do I delete my data? Settings → Reset All Stats deletes your workouts, templates, scheduled workouts and history from the app. Uninstalling the app removes everything. Workouts already written to Health are deleted from the Health app (Browse → Activity → Workouts).

Can I export or back up? Your data is included in your iPhone's iCloud or computer backup like any other app's. There is no separate export yet.
